I haven't seen one of these threads for a while.
Hi, I am neverendinghurt, otherwise known around here as NEH.
I am more than a BS though, more than that name suggests, and so are you.
Don't let being a BS define you.
I am a BS yes, can't deny that, or maybe now I am a FBS.
But I am so much more, I am a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend.
I have many likes and dislikes.
I have hobbies,my current favourite being photography.
I love:- to travel, meeting new people, making new friends, Disney, movies, music, reading, Christmas, halloween.
You are more than a BS, you are more than the name you go by here.
Sometimes, especially in the early days after Dday, it's easy to forget that.
The life of every man is a diary in which he means to write one story, and writes another; and his humblest hour is when he compares the volume as it is with what he vowed to make it.

I like this thread!
I am HFSSC, also known as Holly. I am a registered nurse and have been for almost 25 years. For the last 12+ yrs I have worked in long term care and I love it.
I am a published author. I wrote a book of care plans for long term care facilities that has been widely used and is, in fact, required in Canada's nursing homes.
I am a vocalist and music director/worship leader at my church. When I sing, I feel like I am in the presence of God.
I am a mother of 2 boys, one of them with special needs and a chronic medical condition.
I am compassionate, empathetic and loyal. I am passionate about the things I believe.
I am a survivor who has walked through fire and come out purified and strong.

This is kinda cute - a breather from some of the heavier things.
PBJ was my favorite food when I was pregnant. KiKi is a nickname I got from the alter-ego emerging when I had a few drinks on girls nights out.
I love my little five month old. I'm a blogger, I like photography and words, I love having the show FRIENDS on in the background. The laugh track is soothing and lightens up the mood. I love old buildings. I live in a downtown neighborhood of my city in a 30s era building.
I work in a boring office, in a cubicle - but it's a very good job.
I've traveled the world to some degree, but have a lot of passport pages to fill up.
I love SI - it has been my sane-maker lately.
Thanks for inviting a softer side of all of us.

Hi, I'm Twigs. I'm a Jersey girl but have lived most of my life in CT. I also have a 2nd home in SW Florida that we enjoy but not enough. I have a DD29, DS15, and DS18 who is leaving for college in a few days. I also have a GDD10 and a GDS1.
I have been a SAHM for 18 years. I enjoy decorating my homes, flowers, reading, cooking, baking and working out (to combat the eating/baking..LOL).
I enjoy my children's extracurricular activities, broadway shows, birdwatching, traveling, and quiet evenings at home with H in front of a fire.
Thank you for this post, NEH. It's been a rough year for us. I'm seeing the other side again and it was good to write down what I enjoyed and am learning to enjoy again.

Hi, I'm wildbananas, aka WB or nanners.
BS here as well. I guess I'm an old timer (ack!). I've been S/D for several years and am here to help where I feel I can. And to be an example of what NOT to do after a D.
SI is one of the most amazing resources around and I'm honored to be part of it.
I have four bananas who I'm raising single handedly, I work in IT but am sort of hippie-ish at heart. Bare feet and beaches, that's me.
No matter what path you walk, there is life - and peace - after infidelity.

I do enjoy gardening, photography, travel and would live at the beach if I could afford it. The thought of living further than a 90 minute drive from the ocean gives me claustrophobia!
