So, I'm kind of just over being a grown up today. It's nothing really major, just a few things converged just right to make me feel slightly overwhelmed.
Then, I read a thread on here that caused me to trigger terribly... in a way I haven't triggered in a very long time.
This triggering is not about the A, so I hope this is the right place for it.
Anyone have any hugs to spare?

Totally understand....it's been one thing after another since November in our house, and sunday night we had a visitor at the house that sent me to 7 years ago.
My grandmother and I always had a contest to see who would see the first lighting bug first. When we would see one, we would call the other right away.
I had not seen one yet, but right before we went to bed, a lighting bug was crawling on the brand new living room floor....it was the day before her birthday.
I hate that after 7 years it can still send my heart to shatters....
So totally get you...

Update:
Had a pretty good rest of the day yesterday. I appreciate all the thoughts and hugs. You guys are awesome!
Got up this morning and ran into a friend who complimented my hair. We talked for a bit about my wanting to get some highlights put in. She recommended a stylist to me, so I immediately called to make the appt. It is next Wednesday!
I need to do stuff like this sometimes... take care of myself more. Do things to make me feel good. This gets neglected at times. Maybe my next step should be booking a day at the spa?
Anyway, sorry for the randomness.

I too am tired of being a grown up today.
This has been a rough year for me, and nothing A related. Life just can sometimes suck was too much.
Me: FBSHim: FWSKids: 23 & 27 Married for 32 years now, was 16 at the time.D-Day Sept 26 2008R'd in about 2 years. Old Vet now.
