Been waiting, with my breath held, ever since XPOS sent that remarkably stupid text on the day of our hearing last month that he "changed his mind and would notify the court that he wanted a divorce and not a dissolution." Well, he had 30 days to appeal the dissolution, and that window closed permanently today. There have been no filings according to the appeals court website. I didn't think he would actually do anything, but since his stupid brain cells have obviously taken over what was left of his normal functioning brain cells over the past few months, I simply wasn't sure what idiotic move he would make next.
Looks like the dissolution sticks, as is, and I can relax! Woo Hoo! 
Now that is done, I will be calling XMIL in the next few days for the last time to let her know this changes nothing between her and the kids and that she is welcome in my home any time. She will never come (too elderly, too far to travel), but I want to at least make the offer so she understands this is between me and her d-bag, juvenile son and I don't hold anything against her.
Party time!!
ETA: I keep hearing the "Ding dong the witch is dead" song from the Wizard of Oz in the back of my brain, but the wording is changed to "Ding dong the dick is dead..." Where THAT came from I have no idea!

Im 45. 1st H I left in 2001 after 3 kids. narcassist.
2nd exH had MANY affairs.FALSE R. cheats again. D 5/09. 2 kids. I got 100% custody. ex hasnt seen kids in 6 yrs.
2014 to now: dated highschool sweetheart. He cheated w 23 yr old & left.
