Hello, SI mojo giants! Could I have some of that famous SI whoo-whoo help? I move my newest art exhibition into its new one-week home early Monday morning. I'm SO excited, but so nervous. I know it's Christmas time and you;'ll all be super busy, but if you have a moment, I can use all the mojo I can get!

Thanks a bunch, jrc! Just getting my toolkit ready. Whew! Feels like it's been forever coming, and yet, now, all of a sudden, IT'S HERE! Some of my new canvasses are in a restaurant/gallery near my house. I'm now off to fetch those back for the show. I'm really pumped because the reaction to them at this place has been overwhelmingly positive. People are voting with their mouths; now I have to get them to vote with their pocketbooks!

Oh dear God, the last 24 hours have been anything but serene. First, we were out at a party last night; when we went out to our car to come home, the freezing rain had started and our car wouldn't! Had to be towed to a garage, which didn't open today because of the ice storm. It took me most of the day to locate a rental vehicle that can accommodate my largest canvas. Then our friends whose party we attended last night lost their power, so I contacted them and suggested they come to our place. In between, I managed to get the last-minute prep work. Lost our internet for a while just as I was doing some last-minute promo for the show. Started making a salad dressing in my small food processor only to find that the bowl was cracked and ended up with oil all over my counter! It just went on like that.
I sincerely hope my art move-in tomorrow goes more smoothly than this day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just dropping in to wish you good luck on your show tomorrow..
..the weather seems to be getting a bit better.
..coincidence??? .. our van wouldn't start last night, just as we were leaving for our church 'Christmas Eve' service.. had to walk! .. about 15-20 minutes.
..it was f'n cold..
I'll try to make it into the city if I can sort out the van problem.. to take in your collection.
..i'm sure it will be a great success.

Thank you SO SO much, everyone. I've been going flat out for months. I'm totally vegging today. Not doing a thing till I have to get ready to go to the reception!
