Please don't drink and drive. Here is the MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) video. WARNING very graphic content. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b69J_bMoYk

My friend's daughter was a passenger in a car that was struck by a drunk. She is ok, thankfully. And so is the Ass who hit her.

What a powerful video, thank you for sharing.

My XH still drinks and drives and brags about it. He is usually so drunk he doesn't know how he got home and doesn't remember driving home. That is a person with a serious drinking problem.

oh yikes. I know in certain areas there are services like angelride which are volunteer free rides home no questions asked.

Personally I might just stay home NYE, or if I do go out NYE, spend the night at a friend's, because it's not as much me I worry about as the other people.

I tell my girls to get to a place and stay overnight NYE. One year I had about 8 college-age kids at my house. Loved it!

Bump.

As someone who has experienced first hand the devastation drunk drivers cause please please please don't do it.

Call a friend, a relative, a cab, or stay where you are. It's not worth ruining lives.

The sad reality is that those who drink and drive, thinking it's no big deal and they can handle it, won't get the message from a PSA.

The latest radio stats about there being x% more fatalities on xmas and nye/ny day due to drunk driving make me nervous to even be on the road.

We are always available to pick up our kids, friends, family if someone has had too much to drink. Before we go anywhere a sober driver is chosen.

My family has been through the devastation once, I couldn't survive another loss like it.

Prayers to everyone for a safe week.

I just found out that the (drunk and high) driver of the car that almost hit my husband and son head-on, then wrecked and killed his younger brother, was released from jail last week because his toxicology reports were "lost."

I am sick. Just sick. I seriously want to meet this kid face to face and see if anything will get through to him.

I made it back from Desert Storm. Our unit had some of the first guys on the ground. Some of our troops didn't come home.

I remember it so damn vividly. We made it back. We were alive, and we were so happy to be home.

The first weekend, two of the soldiers were drinking and made the decision to drive.

I'll never be able to wrap my head around their one decision and how it ended both of their lives.

I was one of the soldiers that had to inventory the females possessions so we could box it up and ship it to her next of kin.

My father was almost killed by a drunk driver years ago... the man who hit him had done it a couple times before.

It's just not worth the risk.

Powerful video.

I lost a 17 year old sister to a drunk driver. Broke my parents hearts and mine too. Drinking and driving is just so irresponsible but a fact of life. Some people never grow up.

And remember Murphy is right. Nothing is so bad that it can't get worse!!!
