My son is in remedial (or intensive - whatever you want to call it) math. They are one lesson behind the rest of the other math class. They are just starting algebra. Is there a good online resource that he could use to practice at home? I'm looking for something that will offer good instructions and worksheets, and preferably free. I found a few sites, but they seemed more along the lines of students who already know algebra.

Thanks so much.

TN, I didn't ask his teachers. I didn't even really think about it, to be honest. I usually find all this stuff on my own and when I was having issues finding something good I came here.

Thanks ajsmom and h0peles, I'll check that site out

Thanks for the sites. I have bookmarked all of them. They look great. I've also signed up with the Khan Academy. I think these sites will help my son.

Thanks again!

Add Purplemath to your list. It's great. I'm a certified high school math teacher and teach college math up through calculus.
