My daughter attempted suicide again today. She is hospitalized at the moment and medically clear. She was planning to jump from a bridge. The police picked her up on the off ramp going up to the bridge.
Please pray or whatever it is you do, for her and for our family.
Me: BS 44; Him: WH 47 M - 22 Years
D-day: 7/2013; D filed 7/2014; Divorced 7-27-16

Yes. Pediatric inpatient acute psych unit. We need to ask if a long term placement might be appropriate. Ugh. I hate the thought of it.

When you say, "medically clear"...that doesn't mean that they're already ready to release her <24 hrs after the incident? (not that it would surprise me)

So difficult to deal with. You should as her parent be able to demand at least a 72hour hold. It sounds like she could use an inpatient stay to get her equaled out a bit.
Praying she gets the help she needs now.
