I know I haven't been around, been dealing with my DS's regression as well as the D paperwork and work.

BUT! We submitted the default judgement proposal again today! Hopefully the judge will accept it this time and we can hit the original dissolution date of 5/3! The Snake would be SOOO surprised to find himself divorced, hehe since he's been ignoring the whole process, including the revised financial disclosures served on him last week but sitting in his mail pile unopened.

If I got my judgement then I'd just have to work on evicting him....

Wow...this is great, but I'm just wondering..is he just stupid or lazy or does he just think you won't go through with evicting him?

Thanks guys!

One2ndchance - yeah he's the ultimate narcissist. He doesn't think I'd ever leave him. He actually "threatened" me that if I divorce him there's no going back. That was our last discussion so he probably thinks he put me in my place

I saw on the court website that a judgement was filed!!! So looks like I got it!

Now I just have to hope he doesn't get mad and appeal for the default to be set aside! Should I give him his eviction notice at the same time as the papers? I'm nervous about his temper and we do have a young toddler to raise...

I'd have the papers and eviction notice served at the same time, and I'd pay to have a professional do it. Preferably at work, late on a day when you've already had a locksmith come change the locks on all of the doors and have unplugged the garage door opener. If you feel kind, you might want to help him pack up his clothing too with some hefty bags on the sidewalk. But then, I'm known to be a cantankerous old bitch at times.

Congratulations!

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.
