AT LAST

No big plans but my mom is here today for an apartment walk-through and it's supposed to be sunny all weekend. Hopefully lots of leisurely biking about in store!

What is everyone up to?

Sit. Feast on your life.

Free tickets to the zoo tomorrow, if I can get up and out of the house before it hits triple digits.

Then possibly meeting up with friends and baking.

Sunday is Father’s day, mixed feelings there so I’ll likely just catch up on laundry.

Working all weekend. We have our wine bar open with live music scheduled every night, Friday through Sunday.

(sigh)

It's fun....but I haven't had a day off in 2 months.

I'm off work today, so I'm power washing my house. I'm exhausted.

Tomorrow, I'll cut the grass and attend a surprise birthday party for a friend.

Sunday will be more working around the house.

Got some work to get done for my master's class.

Also NEED to mow the lawn...we'll see if I feel moved to fit that in...probably should get out in the garden and do some weeding...

Hanging out with brother this afternoon and watching some world cup games at the bar.

Finally starting to write that book...2 chapters in and looking to get another hammered out this weekend.

As little as possible this evening, I need to recover from my week and rest up for tomorrow.

I have my grandson (2.5) tomorrow. I'll take him shopping to get his daddy something for fathers day since his momma isn't up to it. Then we're planning to hang at the pool the rest of the day with my sister and my mother. The complex is throwing a pool party from 5-8 with free music, food and beer. Not that I'll drink any while in charge of an active toddler, but mom and sis will.

Oh, and it's moms 83rd birthday tomorrow!

It will take me most of Sunday to recover and do some housework before heading to my "Mindful Eating" group in the evening.

I'm hanging out with my boys tonight.

Tomorrow, we're going to SO's parent's house to celebrate Father's Day with an early lunch. My mom's picking up the boys from there and keeping them over night. After that, I'm going to my bff's house to start off my bachelorette party. We've got the afternoon and evening planned with fun activities. I'm looking forward to hanging out with my girlfriends and family.

Sunday, only thing planned is going to my brother's house in the evening for Father's Day with my family. I'll probably go to church too.

I've had a very long, tiring week at work. Tonight was a late night for me because two of my key employees were out (one long-term) and I'm short by 1 1/2 staff. Ugh.

Now for the weekend

Tomorrow morning is yoga on the beach at a local state park, followed by a hike on the Taconic Crest Trail, where I hope to not get lost like I did last week I haven't decided about dinner, but I'm thinking of Chinese at a restaurant just over the border in Massachusetts.

Sunday morning I'm going birding again with the bird club. I may have to go into work for a while afterward. I have so much to do for the end of the fiscal quarter and a new employee starting on Monday. Oy!

My only plan for the weekend? Sleep in. Did I get to do that this morning? Nooooooo... Dang cats started the fun off at 4:30am followed half and hour later by the dog insisting it was time to get up. I'm going to send them all back to the rescue just so I can get some sleep in the mornings (not really, just a threat I use that goes totally ignored).

*yawn*

I'm done here; sick of 2 x 4s
