What's everyone up to?

We had a snow day today - so we got to play and shovel.

I'm brewing a peanut butter porter this evening.

Tomorrow-- getting a long run in and then getting Teslet to chess club.

Sunday -- hoping to get out and snow shoe on a trail.

OMG, Tesla, how are you and Teslet? I have wondered what happened to you and everyone else in your family.

Nice to "see" you!

Can you update?

Just HOW stupid do you think I am, exactly?

Well Tesla, I’m having a normal thankfully boring weekend with my ducklings. Every weekend i don’t have them I’m off for an adventure, and every weekend with them has been full of sports tournaments.

So we are going to hunker down and binge watch tv and if we are feeling super adventurous, maybe get in a casual bike ride!

Holy Crap! Tesla! How frigging good it is to see you again! Jeeze, I almost hyperventilated when I saw your name!

Sorry for the TJ ... NOT!

Tet & Taxes weekend! We're doing taxes tomorrow, so to blow off steam afterwards, we're heading over to the Tet New Year's Festival. We'll watch the lion dancers, eat great food, shop, eat more great food, waddle around the displays, choke down more great food, and then haul our bloated bodies back home. Sailing charter on Sunday, if all the weight we gained doesn't sink the boat.

You?

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.

Kids are with XH so I’m working and hanging out with my brother and SIL.

We also had a snow storm here. So if I run it’ll be indoors on a treadmill. I’m also hoping to get two mini tattoos. A pumpkin for DD whose nickname is pumpkin pie and a heart shaped lady bug for DS whose nick name is lovebug.

Nice to see you again Tesla! Welcome back. 😊

I bought some healthy food for my new boyfriend and I to make together and a valentines day gift for him and the kids.

My daycare text me today at 730 p.m. to say that her grandfather who died last night is having his funeral on monday. Quickest funeral planned ever! So, will be trying to find a babysitter.

And it's cold...like stupid cold. So cuddling under an electric blanket and watching nwtflix!

It's so good to "see" you again, tesla.

Tonight we went dishwasher shopping. Tomorrow I get to replace the battery in my car so I don't get stranded at lunchtime again.

It's been a long week. Thankfully, there was a margarita with dinner, after I bought my new dishwasher.

Found out on Thursday that work would be closed Friday because of snow I quick packed a bag and drove to BF’s house trying to beat the storm. We have alternated shoveling and tv while I knit all day. Going to see DS at college between snow events and probably feed him. Watching the opening ceremonies while he snoozes beside me on the couch. A lovely comfortable time.

Yesterday- we had a snow day. My husband took the kids to their school skating party. I stayed home with the little one.

Today- we have 2 family parties. A 4 year old birthday party and a non-Christmas family get together. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!

Tesla! So good to see you.

SO is down with the flu, so that has put quite the damper on the weekend. I celebrated by having an MRI on my knee on Saturday, likely the first step towards arthroscopic surgery.

I am hoping to get this all out of the way before Spring arrives.

So good to see you.
