@aesir. I think you nailed it in one. I didn't give her credit for too much intelligence after she changed her story so radically. And if she suffered from "transient global amnesia" after sex, how did she remember she had sex in the first place? This just shows how desperate the defense is. How circular is that logic anyway. "She doesn't remember having sex... because she had sex." Cheeerist.

I heard Jodi referred to this week as "Pornocchio".
Had to share that with you all.

Anyone watching?
Martinez is grilling the daylights out of "Dr." Whoever-the-crap-he-is.
Best quote so far: Doctor, are you having memory problems?
Any thoughts about the "gift"?
Defense has their panties in a knot today. Lawd this trial is such a circus.

I just saw a clip of her in the interrogation room. Oh. My. Gawd.
After the detective (?) left, she does a headstand against the wall, then starts singing to herself then starts picking through the trashcan. The question was asked "What is she looking for?" My thought... her next story. Maybe one that explains it was self defense but it doesn't mean she killed him.

Before she was taken to have her mugshot taken, she asked if she could "clean up", admitting that such a request made her sound shallow. The request was denied but she still smiled.

Wowsers, Juan was on FIRE this afternoon! He completed decimated "Dr." Samuels, I ALMOST felt bad for him...but not really
I nearly fell off my chair when the gift to Jodi was mentioned; what the hell is it about that evil woman that men do these kinds of things? I already thought Samuels was shady prior to that info today, that just sealed the deal. WOW. I loved how the further Juan dug in, Samuels became more confused LOL. Couldn't find paperwork, was sinking in his chair, kept flipping through papers, it was rather amusing! Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow as cross examination continues!!!

"Dr." Samuels: I suppose I should have re-administered the test.
Ya think Sherlock!?
It took less than an hour for JM to completely wear the guy down and make him a complete basketcase.

I was watching the program "Snapped" on Monday.
All of a sudden, there was Juan Martinez on this show. He prosecuted Wendi Andriano and she received the death penalty for killing her terminally ill husband. The only woman on death row in Arizona at the time.
I can't remember if this was said somewhere else in this thread, but it was funny to me. I was like "Hey, that looks like Juan Martinez" while I was watching the program, and sure enough they interviewed him for the show, and it said Juan Martinez.
He was fired up then and hasn't lost that passion at all.
It seems he has an intense dislike for cold blooded murderers.

Isn't she the one who couldn't wait for her terminally ill husband to die? So she poisoned him, and that ended up taking too long, so she beat him to death and claimed self defense or somthing ridiculous?
Yeah...she was a sweety too.
Have they fried her yet? Maybe she and Jodi can pal up on death row.
SisterMilkshake ( member #30024) posted at 1:17 PM on Thursday, March 21st, 2013
Yes, sadtoo, Wendi Andriano is the woman who was too impatient for her terminally ill husband to die, so she helped him along. At the most, the doctors thought he had 2 years to live at the time.
Yes, she is still on death row in Arizona. She was the first woman on death row in Arizona and Mr. Martinez put her there. There are now two additional women on death row in Arizona. I speculate that they will soon have a new member in their exclusive club.

Juan Martinez is just awesome!! If, God forbid, someone in my family were murdered, I'd want someone like Juan as the prosecutor, that's for sure. I know there has been A LOT of discussion on the web, on news shows, etc. about if he comes across as bullying or too harsh & I can see why people say that but I just think he's passionate about what he does. Travis' poor family sits in that court room day after day after day listening to Jodi's lies, seeing horrific pictures of what she did to him but I hope, at the end of the day, they feel some comfort knowing Juan is fighting for justice. It comforts ME and I didn't even know Travis!! There's a "Jodi Arias Is Innocent" website out there (
) that is the epitome of taking a trip to delusion-ville and boy do they hate Juan! They have made up all sorts of awful names for him, say he has a Napoleon complex...it's horrible but it makes me chuckle because that means he's getting under their skin
So today...jury questions for "Dr" Samuels! They were supposed to start yesterday afternoon but someone in the gallery puked in the courtroom
This trial is like a sideshow circus, seriously!! Court in recess because someone tossed their cookies!!!
Apparently there are 100+ questions for Samuels though, so I'm looking forward to that!

The lie that is most disturbing to me is "that she saw him with the photos of little boys".
I CANNOT imagine being his family, sitting there quietly listening and watching that complete crap and NOT jumping over to strangle that crazy bitch.

I haven't recapped everything from today, but two things here...
1. Did anyone see Jodi's hand when Dr. Whoever-the-crap-he-is was on stand? Was she flipping him off??? There are pictures everywhere and I don't know if it was a deliberate thing or just a casual "oops".
2. Is it my imagination or is Wilma acting pretty unprofessional? I've seen her stomp her feet, smirk and simper, giggle, roll her eyes, and when an objection was sustained, look over at JM with a, "Nah, nah, you suck!
" expression.
Has she forgotten that this is a murder trial? We aren't playing games. This is serious business. Get a grip, put your big girl panties on, and freaking defend your trashbag client to a verdict.
