It's 3:30pm down in Senior land... Time for Dinner!!!

Chinese tonight.

Dang the weather turned cold!!! I might have to turn on the heater.

It's 48° right now... I think there's a wind chill.

Virginia, this thread is essentially a nonsense thread. Things will go off on any number of tangents. Reply to the post just before or one pages back, doesn't matter. Or just post anything you want (non-infidelity related).

And jrc, I'll trade your 48 degrees for the balmy 16 we have here. But at least you have your cozy blankets to keep you warm.

Speaking of Blankets... I've been using the purple one for days now while I watch TV and DS has been snuggled under his blue one every night.

Apparently FWSO is warmer than the rest of us... since he's not pulled his out yet.

He'll be pulling his out soon enough from what I saw on the news. Y'all will be getting a taste of that arctic air in the next couple days.

I have blueberry muffins for breakfast and the heck with blankets...I mean, they're useful & all, but I'm loving my heated mattress pad. The bed's pre-heating now. That's my public service announcement. You people out there in Minnesota or just pretty much the rest of the country north of FL, you might consider purchasing one!

I drove up to the corner store this evening and all you could smell was wood smoke...anyone with a fireplace or woodstove's got it cranked up to ward off the chill it seems! (I'd have our fireplace cranked up, too, but the smoke tends to get drawn out into the house a bit which negates the whole je ne sais quoi of a fire, IYKWIM.)

p.s., I love challah bread...French toasted challah bread looks/sounds wonderful!

I could help you with the blankets BR but as SI doesn't allow soliciting...

Oh, and teaching the cat to use the microwave... not a good idea...

Welcome MrsDoubfire. Is this your first time in F&G? Or are you a lurker like a few others here? Glad you dropped in and took the plunge.

And Moo, I'll see your squirrel and raise you a groundhog.

It's a bit early (late?) to be starting the Christmas puppy debate, doncha think?

But speaking of puppies, I have a three year old puppy curled up next to me, sound asleep. I'm waiting for her to start snoring...
