I pretty much avoided TV while I was working. I just didn't make the time. Grading, planning and my mandatory bubble bath were all priorities. Now that I'm retired I'm making up for lost time. I'm enjoying the cop shows, the CSIs, the LAs, etc.
But I'm really loving Judge Judy!

OMG ME TOO!
Big Bang Theory is one of my favorite shows! haha Don't know how I missed it! Probably because its on break right now!
I'm gonna have to edit my original post if you guys keep reminding me of shows I watch and didn't write down!
Also...as my list keeps growing I'm starting to think I have a TV problem...haha.
Luckily, Like I said, I have a DVR box, so I have all these set up to record so I never miss an episode!

The two that I have a hard time admitting: Big Brother and Survivor. My DD sucked me into both this past year by binge watching. I was not watching at first, but then you watch a single challenge and then you want to know who goes home and then the next challenge and then all the sudden you know everyone's name... all in a single afternoon!
Of the less popular show (cause everyone loves Big Bang Theory -- how cannot not love Sheldon!):
Falling Skies
Dead Files
Catfish
Most any cooking contest (Top Chef, Next Food Network Star, Food Truck Wars,...)
Daily Show
Dr Phil (it's like a car wreck...you just HAVE to look!)
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
So shake him off

I watch very little TV these days because I work evenings. I do catch up on NCIS & NCIS LA and Sleepy Hollow on my computer. I don't consider them guilty pleasures.
My real guilty pleasure is occasionally watching QVC
I used to keep them in business.
ETA: The Weather Channel; how could I forget that

My favorite show that i am currently obsessed with is Banshee....its on cinemax.
I love big bang theory, real housewives (NY, OC, and NJ) and have started watching divas.
I also like hoarders, my strange addiction, and intervention. And I love dateline, 20/20, and What Would You Do?
I have heard great things about Orange is the New Black and want to watch it....dont know how similar it is to the book, but I read that and loved it.

American Ninja - I get so excited when someone finishes the course and so bummed when someone fails. My kids think I am crazy.

Anything related to the paranormal. Ghosts, psychics, hautings... you name it. I'm there. As long as it's light outside.
Thanks for reminding me NIK. I watch these, too.
Even in the day I turn on all the lights and don't even think I'm going into the basement to do laundry.
When I'm asked why the electric bill is so high I just say "I have no idea."
Those shows do an excellent job of scaring the hell out of me.
The scene will be all nice and fine, then all of a sudden there's a creepy ghost face right up against the TV.

Since D....I typically indulge in sitcom/humor shows.
I am not into anything that requires mega thinking yet (surprising since I am an big over-thinker).
For mindless, pure entertainment:
Impractical Jokers
Catfish
I have always been pretty stealth in researching OLD, but Catfish took me to an entirely different level of research

Lucky2HaveMe, The Challenge and The Real World are my guilty pleasure shows too. I don't really enjoy TRW any more, but I have to watch to see who ends up on the Challenge
I haven't seen the finale yet. Devyn is probably my favorite but I will be pulling for Laurel and Not Johnny Bananas in the final.
Oh and I suppose the other current guilty pleasure show I have is The Vampire Diaries. At least they are in college now so it's technically not a teen show. Anyway Ian Somerhalder is older than I am.

Impractical Jokers is HILARIOUS!
DH and I went through a phase where we religiously watched Family Feud every single day and enjoyed it WAY too much.
