Here's the twins. It's been a rough couple of days. One step forward and two steps back. They won't be coming home for a while yet and that's heartbreaking.

They are beautiful, sweetie. They are in great hands and, while I know it breaks your heart (my 2-year-old GD spent some time in NICU too), they will get them healthy and strong. My hugs and thoughts are with you, mamma.
You may have noted this in another post, but may I ask how far along you were?
Sending prayers, strength, and lots of hugs...

Oh Drgn - Honey they are so beautiful, and tiny. That Bink looks like it's enormous.
Those NICU Nurses will them big and strong, and then look out. Get some rest now while you can, because I see sleep deprivation being a very big part of your life in a month or two.

Hi,
I was just over 35 weeks. I have been able to give both baths. It's awesome even though they don't really like it lol.
Wh heads back to work Saturday night then back full time starting Monday. Man how I wish we could have a windfall so he could actually take parental leave... It's hard enough only being able to take them out twice a day; now that he's headed back to work he'll only get to do the evening feeding.
Both breast feed great with a nipple shield. Their mouthed are so tiny it's difficult for them to latch without it. Both will feed from a bottle as well so that's good.
It's been tiring going back and forth to the hospital while balancing the needs of the older kids. Dd just grabbed onto me today before we left for an evening feeding. We have been giving tons of loving and reassurance that we will not forget them (dd told wh when he dropped her off at school to promise he wouldn't forget her......that actually made him cry).
