So now Jodi is claiming that she wants the death penalty because having to live the rest of her life in prison is worse, well considering she wanted to plead to 2nd degree with life in prison which is it Jodi? She still lies and doesn't take ownership of her actions.

exactly, she goes whichever way the wind blows.
You know, let them give her the death penalty. She'll still have many years to rot in her cell...and it'll be a death row cell...no Camp CupCake for her. Then daily she can reflect on her actions. And all the while knowing that someday she will be put to death for her actions.
Best result in my estimation. Just hope she doesn't kill herself first, she doesn't deserve to leave, just yet.

Serious mixed emotions. I was so emotional, lol, I teared up. First of all, I am glad for the verdict. Wouldn't have it any other way, this girl killed Travis in cold blood. But then it dawned on me that Jodi's future is in a federal pen. And I almost felt sympathy for her. Or her lost potential. Something. Almost. Then I remembered Travis.
No matter what, I DO feel sympathy for her mother. Her mom may have been the shittiest mother in the world. But I feel sorry for her. I thought she stood by her daughter as much as she could. In all honesty I think she knows that Jodi is guilty as sin.
I am happy for the family. And in the next few weeks they will be heard. I am also super interested to hear what the judge will say. Doesn't she get to make a statement as well?

I just finished watching the interview that convicted murderer Jodi Arias gave...TWENTY minutes after the verdict was read. GOOD LORD!! Girl can't stay away from the cameras even after being found guilty. Beth Karas on HLN was saying there was VERY heated arguments going on between Jodi & her lawyers before the interview, they must want to strangle her themselves after that interview. Who the hell does that the day BEFORE the aggravating/mitigating part of the trial starts?
Then this bitch has the nerve to say "Travis' family all look alike so I didn't make eye contact with them because it was like looking at my abuser and I don't want that"..still sticking to her lies to the very end, that's Jodi! Then she says she wants the death penalty instead of life in prison, BWAHAHAHA!! Puhlease, girlfriend.
I hope Juan plays that video in court & the Jurors know she's once again lying & send her ass to death row.

I think Jodi has been a handful for her lawyers. She probably thinks she's smarter than they are. Nurmi tried to get out of defending her. I can see why.

Was that completely FREAKISH??? What a LOON!!!! And did you hear her say how she "respected Juan Martines as an attorney" but he "really did some underhanded things in this trial." ???
WTF??
Oh yeah. We will be hearing that little clip again here real soon. And Jodi rolling her eyes.
Fascinating.

So, the little BPD chickie claims she welcomes death. (Sighs. Yawns. Rolls eyes.) "I'll kill myself and then you'll be sorry." Oh, how very BPD. Take her at her word, jury. Please.

I'm rewatching the interview.
Actually says that she respected Juan Marinez BEFORE her trial.
But now because he did some "shady things" and "hid evidence"....
Hid evidence???? What evidence? He must have hid all the evidence that proves her innocents.
What a complete Nutball.
lynnm1947 ( member #15300) posted at 2:37 PM on Thursday, May 9th, 2013
If Martinez hid evidence, why didn't her defence disclose?
And what could that evidence be? Not that her handprint was found in Travis's blood. Juan disclosed that.
Not that she lied about returning the gas can. Juan disclosed that.
Not that she changed her story number times. Juan disclosed that, too.
Hmmmm.......that she's a nutjob? He didn't actually come right out and say that, you know.

I threw up a little bit in my mouth when I watched her interview post verdict. I couldn't watch the whole thing, it made me sick. But what it reminds me of is when Juan said "It is NEVER her fault. It is ALWAYS someone else's fault, someone else did something bad to her." I couldn't BELIEVE what she said about Travis' family. I hope they play that in court.
She had no problem staring at the pics of Travis alive, tearing up and smiling softly. Hell, she had no problem peeking at the autopsy photos of her handiwork. And yet she can't look at his family. More like she can't look at the faces who's lives she destroyed. Whattabitch! Either way, no more interviews for her! I think Travis is right, I think she really is a sociopath.
Oh, btw, I am convinced Nurmi hates her.
What time does court start today?

Something that stands out to me is the one commentator who works with the Missing kids foundation.
She was talking with someone from the foundation who stated "humans " are the only species on the planet that will ignore that tingle we get when we sense that something is wrong or someone is not right.
Look at how many of his friends told him that something was off with Jodi and tried to warn him off, but he always gave everyone a chance plus Jodi had told Travis she would kill herself if he left her.
One of Travis friend told the story of how his wife stated they were not going to be seeing Travis anymore unless he broke up with Jodi.
This was after they met her for the first time at a wedding I think in church where they were talking to Travis and Jodi comes up from behind and starts biting and sucking on Travis neck, she didn't even say hello to them, just marked her territory.
I think she wasn't just jealous of women but of everyone that took Travis attention away from her.
As I'm writing this my mind went to the movie Leave Her To Heaven.

Does anyone know where I can find the full post-conviction interview?? I've only been able to find pieces and I understand that it was a 45 minute interview.

YES!
It was the Nancy Grace show and she was talking to Marl Klass (sp) He is the father of murder victim Polly Klass. They were talking about the Cleveland case and how we should listen to our instincts.
He was saying when dogs feel the need to go on "alert" they don't question "why" or maybe it's nothing...they go on alert anyway.
I too found that very interesting.
