My H brought up the same possibility as Lala - that at some point OM will demand access to the kids to prove herself "worthy".
She's putting more on the line than her military career. She very well could be putting her *life* on the line as well as those of the kids and the grandbaby.
Yes, I know that sounds overly dramatic but the possibility cannot be ruled out. I think first order of business should be getting all minors out of the house then advising her commander of the situation. Of course, the commander may decide to deal with it internally (as is his/her perogative with the JAG only advising) which would mean *none* of this would become public. The only way it would afterward is if she disobeyed the order to end the affair. But by the time that happens, she could be in entirely too deep.

All affairs are variations on a theme. No one has 'Beethoven's 5th' to everyone else's 'Chopsticks'.

I'm glad things are being handled, and yes your kids are older and should be doing there part around the house but with supervision. But you also mentioned a grandchild living in the home. Is the grandchild living in the home with his/her parent(s)? If so they could lose custody of that child as well for the state of the house. Make sure they are all safe and both you and the kids get away from this mess safely
