Monty Python?
Oh my goodness!
Which is your favorite Pythonism?
Mine is "Sons of a window-dresser!" said by the profane French guard.

And for most any sci-fi film made, you have to be able to say, "Yes, but the book/short story/novella/comic was better," and then list out all the ways the film deviated from the original story line.
Then there are the movies that were better than the book. Like Dune. Yes, Sting wearing a Batarang for underwear > Frank Herberts visionary tale of magical eugenics programs and space worms that poop mutant making dirt that allow prescience which somehow makes navigating spacetime less dangerous than, say, using a powerful computer that *isnt* an AI to plot a course around a gravity well.
Dune2 the game, however, was a level of awesome unparalleled in its time.
Also, is it possible to play a session of a tabletop fantasy RPG for 4 hours or more without making a monty python reference?

"It's only a flesh wound!"
Also I watched the first (2005) Doctor Who episode: Rose. Favorite part was when he was talking about all the plastic coming to life: shop dummies, wires and cables. Roses response...breast implants! ROFL! Now that would be a hell of a sight!

Would that be The Holy Grail spanking scene or the Blackmail spanking scene?

silverhopes I love Batman, Avengers, Hulk, basically Marvel and some DC thrown in. I read A LOT of manga and Superman is pure crap and I dislike him intensely.

Posting my vote for Doctor Who - am currently catching up with the Matt Smith episodes and even the wife and DD are enjoying it immensely.
The Ponds were wonderful companions, and now would be a perfect time to jump on board with this new season and new companion.
Liking the fact that someone has put thought into characters and story arcs.
I started out in the Tom Baker era and haave enjoyed The Doctor in his various forms over the years. It nice to see the production values and technology finally catch up with the scope of the stories being told.

Nice!
You like manga too? What ones? I'm still kinda building my comics collection, but like I said got some Elektra, Deadpool, Batman, a little X-Men... There were some cool Marvel video games we played too, so that was fun to fill in some stories, as well as the animated series... I read Naruto online sometimes but haven't started any other manga yet. Who's your favorite superhero(ine)?
