It's a bit off topic, but you said you were buying a Mr Potato Head for your son? Who's in college? Does he collect them or something? I wasn't going to ask but I can't get past it. Seems like such an odd thing that a college guy would want, I'm sure there there's got to be a backstory.
I would get your daughter in counseling asap. If she's laughing and making jokes about you dating again and having a blast at Disneyland while her mother is perhaps on the brink of suicide from the sounds of your posts, well, she clearly isn't processing things. It just seems so odd but I know I sound like a broken record. I'm just really concerned by the way you describe your children's reactions to all this.
