Edited for TMI: the gist was, so-called "average" is awesome!!! Really, if you know how hard it is to swallow a whole banana, WHY would you ask for a larger size?!!
I used to get self-conscious about giving bjs because all those damn sex articles in the women's magazines say that men like bjs the most and that if you can't or won't give him good head, you're gonna lose him and rightfully so (more ads designed to keep folks afraid, and they do it by threatening their intimacy, sex lives, and ability to trust a partner and grow together with infidelity, abandonment, and spinsterhood). I'm still learning what H likes, since he won't outright tell me, but it helps that he's the perfect size for my mouth. 
To all the guys who feel self-conscious: it's hard, and I have the feeling that guys and girls are in a race to see who can be more self-conscious about size of penis/breasts/tightness of vajayjay. Try to ignore the stupid magazine articles, TV shows and movies, and pornos that perpetuate these ideas. Love yourself.
Now if only I could follow my own advice...
