Really overwhelmed today. Drowning need answers.

You are in my prayers. Our God is faithful.

Psalm 61:2

From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety.

I will pray that your heart is not overwhelmed, just your to do list. Though I suspect it's also your heart, so I will pray that you find comfort in mourning.

And remember the wise words of someone who once told me that nothing is big to God, everything is little to him.

Thank you for the prayers. Going to deep dive into prayer today seeking answers.

Do I declare bankruptcy? Do I let my house go? Do I get a job? Do I keep fighting for my biz?

I have a lot of pride. Sigh.

Red Sea

Thank you. I'll keep going.

Have you come to the Red Sea place in your life

Where, in spite of all you can do,

There is no way out,

There is no way back,

There is no other way but through?

Then wait on the Lord with a trust serene,

He will send the wind,

He will send the floods.

But He will say to your soul, "Go on."

And His hand will lead you through -- clear through,

No mightiest sea can drown.

The tossing billows may rear their crests,

Their foam at your feet may break.

But over their bed,

You may walk dryshod,

In a path that your Lord will make.

You shall see but the Lord alone.

Where He leads you on,

>From the place by the sea,

To the land that you have not known.

And your fears shall pass, as your foes have passed.

It's my wedding anniversary today. 16 years. I'm really blessed.I woke up with "the trial is over" in my heart.

No confirmation yet but I'm taking it.

Listening for directions.

The enemy is hitting me hard with despair.

I haven't seen relief yet but I believe its here. Just confessing it and continuing to confess it.

Thanks. We did. Quiet but quiet is good.

I have a hormone imbalance and have to watch what I eat and use progesterone cream and right now I think its wreaking havoc on my emotions. Not that I dont have reason to panic. Panic is actually probably the same response.

Anyhow. I need prayer specifically for help to face this paperwork. For strength. To hear Him.

It's funny. I go to teach the kids at church and pray and see the lesson unfold in my head. Poof.

But crickets on big things.

I love reading through this thread to see your walk out of despair through prayer. And practical answers! I'll pray for your deliverance from present difficulty, possibly through contracts I'm reminded of that story:

A very religious man was once caught in rising floodwaters. He climbed onto the roof of his house and trusted God to rescue him. A neighbour came by in a canoe and said, “The waters will soon be above your house. Hop in and we’ll paddle to safety.”

“No thanks” replied the religious man. “I’ve prayed to God and I’m sure he will save me”

A short time later the police came by in a boat. “The waters will soon be above your house. Hop in and we’ll take you to safety.”

“No thanks” replied the religious man. “I’ve prayed to God and I’m sure he will save me”

A little time later a rescue services helicopter hovered overhead, let down a rope ladder and said. “The waters will soon be above your house. Climb the ladder and we’ll fly you to safety.”

All this time the floodwaters continued to rise, until soon they reached above the roof and the religious man drowned. When he arrived at heaven he demanded an audience with God. Ushered into God’s throne room he said, “Lord, why am I here in heaven? I prayed for you to save me, I trusted you to save me from that flood.”

“Yes you did my child” replied the Lord. “And I sent you a canoe, a boat and a helicopter.”
