Funny, I've lived in stupidville for many many years but I just never did pick up stupidspeak. It's a difficult language from what I understand. Try speaking slower and louder. That sometimes help.

SerJr advice to the newbies 4/25/09

The biggest battle of your life is the one you fight today. You're in hell right now... I know that... and either we get it together... or we're gonna crumble little by little as it wears us down...

We can stay here... and get the shit kicked out of us... or... we can fight our way out. We can climb out... and into the light... little by little.

You know... as you go through life things get taken away from you... that's part of life. And it is cruel... and it is unfair... but that's not what living is about. It's about what we have left to give. It's those little things we do today that make our tomorrow...

You find out life's about those little things... that it's those little things that make all the difference. Those little things are all around us... and they're in every minute and every second of every day... and most of the time we don't even bother to see them.

Look for those little things... fight for those little things... and protect those little things... because when we add up all those little things that's gonna make all the fucking difference we need to get outta here.

Now I can't do it for you... I can't make you do it. You wouldn't want that anyway... believe me... there's someone better. Maybe you can't find the courage... because you're too lost... or maybe you can't find the strength... because you can't see it... but believe me... it's there. Besides... you gotta be good and lost to find that which can't be found.

You gotta stand up... and take a good look at your heart... and I think you're gonna see a person willing to kick down the gates of hell for those little things. Either we stand up now... and fight for those little things... or we're not gonna make it. That's life guys... that's what it's all about.

I know you're hurting... and I know you're down... but you gotta dig down into that core part of who you are and get up and move... even if it's just a little.

So come on... take my hand if you have to... but stand up even if just for a moment... and be proud of who you are. The air is crisp and clean up here... and the view's much nicer. Don't be afraid to get up... you'll be okay... I promise. Stand up and take a minute to enjoy the little things. It makes all the difference.

Just do IT. God has your back.

Basic_Guy in If You Could have one wish thread...

would you harm the OP by wishing it?

Ok....this is a tough one....

In the first couple years my answer would have been yes.....I would have wished that his guts would have been eaten out by rats.......

But.....as time has passed....and I have become older....less bitter...and more forgiving.....I don't care how his guts get eaten out....as long as it's painful......

From BigTeddyPaul from general's "Has your H ever said this? And do you believe him?"

This just confirms that yes in fact, cookies are evil.
