This whole "Spring Ahead, Fall Back" time shifting shit's gotta stop.

I'm tired and hungry when I'm not supposed to be and have slept like crap the last two days.

It's not like it was back in my 20's when we'd get an extra hour of partying in. I'm too old for this.

I don't understand why bra straps can't stay up. On that note, I don't understand why bras can't be made to be more comfortable.

Also? I spend way too much time thinking about who uses the Oxford comma, and why people make the choice they do about it.

Crazy Lady With Whom I Work,

I looooove listening to your daily 45min phone calls to your Facebook pals.

The window I get into your life is just...wow.

In the three years you've worked here, you've moved 7 times. Every single time, you complain that your housemates or roommates have issues (even when you were living with your son and his girlfriend).

Here's a little tip for you:

Problems with one roommate, I can see.

Problems with two even.

But when a person has problems in EVERY household they've lived in, that person MAY want to look in the mirror.

Just sayin'...

ETA:

And the frequency with which you move MAY have something to do with why you can never find anyone to help you move your shit. Just sayin'.

Your kid is mean to my kids and I do not particularly like watching her for you.

That being said, the kids NEVER have school on election day, you must know this.. So please do not text me the night before saying you just had it sprung on you that there is no school tomorrow.

I need time and preparation to allow your kid to come yell at my kids all day because she doesn't know how to act.

I'm wondering why myheartstillhurt's kids don't have school on election day. That's inconvenient, what with it being in the middle of the week and all.

The Oxford comma is the comma before the word "and" at the end of a list. Example: "I only post on SI on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays." The comma after "Tuesdays" is an Oxford comma. It's becoming more commonplace - I'm assuming because of word processing programs - to say, "I only post on SI on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays."

Now my random thought is how many people on SI just elevated my level of dorkdom because I posted about freaking commas in Fun and Games.

What can I say? I think grammar is fun.
