Of COURSE. We even accept grand-toddlers, and the occasional teenager that acts like a 3yo.

Yaayyyyy!!!!

Poor 3-year-old-acting-teenagers!

I guess, my most recent cute story is of Lil Silver with the cats. He knows how to say "kitty!" now, so he runs after our two cats, yelling "kitty!" or some variation, "ki'y!" when he gets excited.

At one point, he cornered one of them in the hallway near a closed door, again yelling "ki'y! ki'y! ki'y!" The poor cat made a VERY unhappy yowling noise. Lil Silver knelt next to her, comfortingly yet somewhat mockingly imitated her saying, "Oowwww..." and then hugged her. And then tried unsuccessfully to pick her up.

The poor thing could only flatten her ears until we opened the door and helped her escape. Since then, you'd think they'd avoid him, but one even comes over to get him to scratch her butt.

He likes them almost as much as he likes cars!

Silver, DS5 *adores* cats, and he has ever since he could see them and realize what they were. LOVES them.

Mercifully, we have incredibly friendly and infinitely patient cats who actually LIKE his attentions. To his credit, he has always been very gentle with animals.

At one point he used to only go to sleep in his crib if he had all 4 stuffed kitties with him!

So DD woke up this morning and needed to have a big talk with me about Mulan. ("Moo-yawn")

Apparently Mulan is scared of DD, and this makes DD sad. Also, Ariel gave Mulan the booty-tush in the car. I must have missed that as I didn't think they had ever been in the car together. We talked for about 15 minutes about how DD loves Mulan and Mulan shouldn't be scared of DD because DD is a good girl.

They smooched and hugged and Mulan felt better, then Pocahontas gave Mulan a hug too and everybody was happy. Until Pocahontas tried to ride our pug "Bobo". Then Bobo wasn't happy. We took a break from princesses riding the pugs, but DD insisted that she would like to ask dad about that later.

LMAO.

I have two.

This past weekend, someone was talking to DS4 and they said, "You know, you're Mommy is very beautiful." He nodded very seriously and said, "Yeah I know. I just love her."

This morning, DS came running in the living room yelling, "Mommy! I'm worried about Bobbie's 'meow'. I think it's broking! I'm so worried about her."

Apparently Bobbie gave him a halfhearted "meow" and DS was terrified that it was broken.

OK, two things from my little one.

1. This has been maybe a month or two ago. BabyG was playing on the iPad, her daddy had his iPhone. She said, "Look! You have an iPhone and I have an iPad! We both have iThings!"

We looked at each other like . . . whaaaa did she just say? I swear, my kid is brilliant.

2. BabyG likes to run around naked after her bath, and her dad is always after her to put some clothes on. So the last time he told her to put her clothes on, she climbed up on the bed where he was sitting, and backed up to him, calling, "There's a butt coming to see you!"

Last night a group of us went out to dinner. DS4's "girlfriend" (who's 16-17) was there as well.

His girlfriend has a purity ring. DS asked what her ring was for. One of the other youth members said, "She's married to Jesus." DS had this look of horror on his face, his eyes brimmed with tears and he looked down into his lap and said, "She's already married!? Why didn't she tell me!?"

So then the youth group was in damage control mode, trying to explain in 4 year old terms what being married to Jesus was. He was better once he realized she wasn't really married and she was still available once he comes of age.

Vrazz woke up this morning and requested that I change her into her Santa PJ's, and that she be holding her Santa snowglobe while I do it. Should I be terrified or ecstatic about how the next month and a half is gonna roll?

This is the first year she's been aware of Christmas in advance....

I have a 3 yr old niece....does that qualify?

She called me yesterday, and said "Aunt Keekee (my name is Nikki), I NEED you to come over and play ponies with me. But don't bring Uncle Phil, he's just TOO goofy."

She's right. He is.

Ahh, perfect timing.

Soooo here's our latest and greatest...

DD loves to close the refrigerator door. It's her self declared JOB. The other day I was making dinner and I didn't notice that she was standing by the door waiting to close it so I closed it myself.

DD: MAMA! It's MINES to close door!!!

Me: Honey, I didn't see you there. You may close it the next time.

DD: Mama, you sassing me. You say, "Sorry 'DD'."

I love this club!

Okay, so this one is "old", but... Lil Silver learned how to sing parts of "The Wheels on the Bus", except now he's been changing the words!! So instead of "open and cose! open and cose! all truu towwwwn!" he sings:

"Nurse and nurse! Nurse and nurse! Allll truuu NURSEEE!!!!" And then tries to nurse.

I think he has his dad's sense of humor.

DS is obsessed with the Cars movies and Toy story movies. This morning on the news, they were live showing Disney on Ice, The Cars were on tv. I thought he was going to have a heart attack - screaming McQueen, McQueen. Probably the most enjoyment he has gotten from watching the morning news.

^^^ Too cute! Sounds like McQueen has a big fan.

Right now my son is sitting here with his father's iPod pretending it's a phone. For the longest time, he's said, "Hewwo?" which is pretty good... But somehow he's decided to shorten it?!!!! So now he's putting the phone to his ear and saying, "Ho?!!! Oh hi..." I don't even-

I can hardly wait to hear what new words he says next...

DS2 learns a lot of fun words and phrases from his older siblings. His newest one was "Oh Man" said whenever something doesn't go his way. But he draws it out so it sounds like, "Oh Mannnn"

He also recently said "Damnit" Used it in perfect context as well...I'm gonna blame his daddy for that one.

Dameia did he get that from Dora, maybe? Swiper the Fox says, "Oh Man!" Baby G's picked up on that, and she also says, "Hey! What's the big idea?" (Donald Duck)

Lately she's obsessed with "patterins" (patterns) and she talks about them all the time. I love the way she says it. Also, she'll ask me to help her with things: Mommy, can you do this? I'm not a good job at this. She also confuses stay/keep/leave - I put down some of her papers so I could put her coat on, and she pointed at them and said, "Mama, are we gonna stay those here?" Love it.
