Anyone know what an SGAS Day is?
[Edited to change my mind.
]
I think that it was used by someone here for a "Stop Giving A Sh** Day" (ie a day when one made a conscious effort not to care.)

Forlorn,
Can I ask where you saw it and how it was used in context? I know one abbreviation that it stands for, but I doubt that it would be used that way on SI.
Married: 27 years (14 @JFO) D-Day: 11/09/11"Ohhhhh...shut up Tred!" - NOT the official SI motto (DS)

Hoover may depend on the context but I think it refers to a type or vacuum cleaner which translates into a blow job or some who likes to give BJ's.

Hoover or hoovering is when a spouse (reference is typically for a remorseless WS) emotionally manipulates you back into the fray when you were just starting to exert independence from the relationship. (ie sucks you back in)
Give or take.
