I got these about 2 weeks ago. My first pair of Old Gringo's, and OMG - I love, love, LOVE them!

We can't have duplicate threads on the same topic. Please use one of the existing boot threads for this discussion.

I'm using my modliness to say that there can never be enough boot threads .

(just ignore Grumpy Cat and WH5 above, they're just grumpy!)

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

Since you wimmenz brought shoes into the math thread in a totally off topic t/j, let me show you how it is done properly by relating to the topic at hand.

Now this thread is about auto parts.

Oddly enough, I remember when the word "boots" was local slang for wide tires to put on mag wheels.

These are an awesome looking set of 15 series tires by Kumho.

I think that tire would last about a mile here before a pothole would take out that wheel

sadcat, those are hot!

I bought a pair of shoes on a whim once. They were very high and strappy and gorgeous. I said I would wear them no matter how much they hurt.

I wore them to a party last summer. It was an outdoor party where everybody was standing around on the deck. 5 minutes! 5 minutes until excruciating pain and I could barely stand up in them. The other girls were in flip flops and my feet were screaming. Fortunately I had the foresight to throw a pair of flip flops into the car 'just in case', although I swore I wouldn't give in. I told LD, "Help me to the car!" and I put them on.

Those pink booties are pretty but my feet cringed just from my looking at them.

sad, those ARE hot, but I could never, ever walk in them! Take notice of my (now)2 boot threads. Look at the heels (or in this one, lack thereof).

BUT for someone else - they are smokin' hot!

I bought these last year and spent about $700. I've worn them maybe once.

I bought these this fall on ebay and spent only $250 and have worn them almost EVERY day.

@ sad

I remember when you got your cowboy boots. You should wear them more - they are to die for!!

Know what you mean about comfort, tho. When choosing between 2 boots and one feels like bedroom slippers, well - guess who wins???

But seriously, you should wear those rockin' cowboy boots.

Tt,

It's not so much about comfort. The rockin boots are very comfortable, as they are lined with this butter soft leather. Mmmmm-mmm

It's more a matter of functionality. We have had SO MUCH SNOW this year! Before the REAL Uggs, I went and bought a cheap-o pair of Ugg look-a-likes from Tractor Supply, but they stretched out so much, they were litterally sucked right off my feet!!! I think they are still out there in the snow drift....unless the dogs dug them out and ran off with them.

That was a wasted $15
