UPDATE :

Great news today. Nate is responding really well. No infections so he's going home today or tomorrow !

I haven't had a chance to speak directly to Mom but I'm sure she is relieved with his progress. He's eating and very alert but DSS didn't know what his treatment plan was because it's been readjusted.

This is an Easter blessing...

still praying for him and all of you :) I'm glad he may be going home soon though, that will help so much for morale :)

I originally joined SI as a way to help my best friends find ways of coping with infidelity, but now infidelity has touched my family much closer to home.

I can't say enough about the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital. Nate LOVES it there and didn't want to leave.

They (hospital staff)have been so terrific on how they communicate to Nate about the procedures they are doing and what they are for, telling him at his 6 yr old level. They have definitely taken away much of the fear of the unknown. Mom is even doing better.

I told her I would stay with Nate so she can have some Mom time. Baby shopping, hair, or a massage would be good.

Again I thank-you SIers for all your support !
