I have those "fancy" hangers that hold 5 items at a time.
Would you:
A. Hang your skirts based on color.
B. Hang your skirts based on length.
This is the dilemma I face today.

Being my anal self, I'd hang them:
First - length
Then - color
Then - formality (high formal toward the bottom)

Ugh. Formality. It just got more complicated.

I'm with Crescita - hang them based on formality or occasion. Work skirts on one, casual skirts on another, etc. so when you're getting ready for the day, you can pull out one hanger and pick from what's on it.

Formality then length- I hang the shorter ones on top so I can see them.

I'd hang them based on how often I'd use them--go-to skirt at the top, least used (probably most formal) at the bottom)

I'd just be glad I got them on to hangers... and not heaped on the floor!!!

Oh Gawd. I give up Everyone has such good ideas. But I can't do all of them and Lord knows I have the concentration of a flea. I'll never try them all and see which works best.
Maybe I should just go clean the bathroom for now.
