Dogs love to tinkle on trees, so how about Pomona - Roman goddess of fruit trees and orchards? You could call her Mona.

Candi is the Indian goddess of the moon - she and Chandra (the Hindu male) alternative their turns.

Most people will think Calypso is named after the style of music/dance.

Naming the dog Chaos will work really well if you know anyone named Schtarker, then you can say

Schtarker zis is Chaos. We don't (insert silly action here) here!

Yeah, okay I know that should be KAOS.

Often overlooked, Iduna or Idunn is the norse godess responsible for keeping everyone youthful.

Who cares? They can think you're fans of Pirate of the Caribbean if they are so inclined.

With Calypso, you can shorten to Callie and meet the "don't sound stupid at the dog park" requirement.

Everyone thinks calypso is the ice lolly here ha I like it though!

I'm warming to Chaos- she is mental- driving my dog crazy- poor Atlas looks like he's got the weight of the world on his shoulders- oh yes, a greek mythology Dad joke.

Aesir- I don't know what that is!

Karma- oh yeah ha. It's been a long day!!

Just a cautionary tale......My DD wanted a name from Greek mythology for her Golden Retriever.

She chose Perses, the Titan god of destruction.

I think the dog saw that as a personal challenge. I could post pics.

Be very, very careful.

Anastasha Louise Pup-a-lupigus.

Don't know why, haven't even read any of the other names, I just saw your post and that popped into my head. Maybe good if she's a Great Dane. Might be overkill if she's a teacup poodle!

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.
