I'm not worried about hearing a huge THUD in my house...I know what my doorhandles look like compared to the video

I think the thud was the worst part.

Well, that and the crazy person encouraging the snake from off camera.

So how does this compare to the trapdoor spider gif? That one is why I haven't slept in a week or so.

I'm here!! Not afraid--I love snakes; love to look at them, touch them, observe them. I don't understand fear of snakes; they are some of the coolest (pun intended ) animals on the planet.

But alligators, TR? I don't wrastle them; I eat them

Golden Boa - cool snake. Big one too. Harmless (unless you're a mouse).

really? I thought they wrapped around their prey and crushed them.

I'm not a snake expert, LOL. Boas can bite like any snake and big ones can bite you (apparently it hurts) and aggressively throw coils around you. Any snake this big can be a problem, although from what I hear most pets are pretty well-behaved.

The standard defense, if bitten or 'squeezed,' is to get the scent of alcohol into their face because they can't stand it.

Therefore, for most SI'ers, just breathing on a big boa should be a decent defense

I'm terrified of snakes, but that wasn't so bad. You can see she seems rather lovely.

She seems massive. And capable of opening my closet door in the middle of the night, thudding onto my bed, and "hugging" me to death.

The thud was like a huge piece of saltwater taffy hitting the floor. Way cool. (I can't believe I just said that.)

NIK if you read it he says she turned on lights too because she didn't like being left in dark rooms. So at least when it comes to cuddle you it won't be in the dark.
