I just realized yesterday that I finally feel safe with H, or as safe as I'm ever going to feel.
For the longest time I didn't feel like I could trust him to have my best interest in mind. It makes me sad that even this trust isn't complete like it was before. I will always be guarded, I think.
Shared this with H. Told him thank you for doing the work to help me feel safe again.
