I just posted on my facebook page that I've quit smoking. Not sure everyone knew, but I quit and I AM proud of it.

There is just one tiny problem: I feel like shit. They say after 30 days it will be easier. Well I'm finding it harder. My kids will be going with their Dad tomorrow for a while and its going to be very very quiet.

Just hoping this icky period will pass because right now I feel so blue.

Congratulations on this milestone, Click4it! I have no willpower for even minor things such as exercise. So I am always in awe of those who have the near-superhuman amount of determination and self control that it takes to give up smoking. In my opinion, thirty days of iron control is brilliant. All the more so if you feel ghastly. Three cheers for you!

PS Have you done the 30-day dollars-saved tally, yet?

Woo HOO clicky!!!

Keep on keeping on.

Do something awesome for you, and I don't mean candy. Go get a massage, or the expensive pedi/mani.

After all your nails deserve a treat since they aren't getting stained with nicotine anymore.

Great job!

Try to stay busy while the kids are gone. Keep your hands and mind occupied so that you aren't (as) tempted to smoke.

Way to go!!

oh my goodness you all are the BEST CHEERLEADERS EVER!

I'm still feeling pretty icky today. I had lunch out with a co-worker that lifted my spirits up a bit, so that helped.

I just physically feel "blah" and I'm sure its a combination of things.

I should feel so elated and yet I'm like "so what I quit smoking? what of it?" isn't that terrible?? Plus, I feel like I'm cheating when I puff on an e-cig. I know its supposed to be completely "harm" free as compared to tobacco cigarettes, but how do I really know? I'm still getting the nicotine.

Maybe I'll get out of this funk in a few days (I hope).

You guys make me smile though, so THANK YOU.

edited to add: this also the first time in ALL THESE years on SI I learned how to post a pic. I'll celebrate that too. lmao.
