My MIL's Husband, yah my Step father in law, is in the hospital.
It sound weird I know, but I am very very close with this man. He is wonderful, my kids love him the most out all the grandparents. He is kind, sweet, and has a fabulously dry whit.
Unfortunately he has a horrible heart. Despite all the great meds and everything he still has very limited function.
He started with belly pain and low grade fever and nausea on Sunday, finally went to the ED yesterday, and he at 80 years old had a ruptured appendix!!! 
The surgeon who I have known for 20 years did a great job, and so far so good. But any SI MOJO and prayers are welcomed. PaPa Charlie needs to be on the mend, so he can enjoy the rest of his summer on his pontoon boat.

Wow thanks for all the thoughts, prayers and MoJO.
This is a man that is 6'3" and goes about 175 soaking wet. He has had no real food since Monday, and he was unable to have any yesterday. He is also 80, so he is extremely weak. I am hoping they can get some nutrition in him today, and get him up and about.
When I got the update this am, he was attempting to eat some breakfast, lets hope it stays down this time.

And not working. Lots of nausea and puking. Stopped the pain meds and he is walking the halls. I am hoping we see some progress in the next 24 hours. My poor MIL is so frustrated she is a doer and nOt being able to fix this for him is making her crazy.
So any additional prayers positive thoughts or SI MoJo is appreciated.
