Just arrived back home y'all. I am so tired. What a great time and great bunch of people. I missed the large crowd that the TX g2gs often attract, but the beauty of this smaller group were the times we gathered together sharing, laughing, catching up. (OK, there may have also been some eating and drinking!)

I still have to upload my pics off my big camera, but here are a few from my cell phone.

The to-die-for breakfast of Pumpkin Bread French Toast and Migas from Kerbey Lane.

Ahi Ceviche from the Iron Cactus.

Big Bark and Elda M. - both were delicious.

In case y'all were wondering...I did actually do something other than eat and drink:

Took a tour of the beautiful Capitol bldg and this interesting effect greeted us as we exited the bldg.

Awesome pics, I'm so glad you all had a great time!!

I have to say, jjct's picture almost brought me to tears, though. All of those wonderful taps, next to taps, on top of taps, at The Ginger Man. So many quality brews, so little time!

Pecan porter

I'm pretty sure that one was 512 Brewing Company's Pecan Porter. Yes?

We had some really amazing Texas beers.

Yes, 512 Ama, w2 has the right of it! Which means of course you'll have to come down here to get you some...

Though why they didn't name their brewery 4 2 oh I'll never know

Great pic w2! That's the 'goddess of liberty' haloed right there, though I'm not much into goddesses...it stands taller than the washington one, we 'heard' it's the only one to do so...it's Texas doncha know, everything's bigger and all...

Losfer - don't cry my bother!

(like I did when they dragged me outta that place)...

Wow! It looks like you guys had a blast. I didn't see this thread till yesterday so I missed it.

Are these get together a open to all SI members, or do you have to have the super spy decoder ring?

Can I come next time? Please?

G2g's are open to all members. There is no tour schedule, but the folks in TX tend to do a couple a year. Past locations have been in Houston, Austin, and Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Just watch f&g forum for future g2g announcements

The next Texas g2g should be in March, around St Patrick's Day, in the Houston area. Rumor has it there may be some birthday celebrating going on at the g2g, too.
