I am feeling better. I don't understand why I can't sleep . I fall asleep easily. But after a few hours I am semi awake the rest of the night. Like I am aware of everything that is going on in the house.

Any suggestions on a good nights sleep?

I got some great suggestions on a recent thread of mine regarding similar challenges.

I will bump it in the hopes that the suggestions might help you as well.

That waking up after sleeping a while is harder to fix than just trouble falling asleep.

If you have allergies or congestion try taking Benadryl and using a netipot prior to bedtime. If that doesn't fix it then you may need sleeping meds NOT AMBIEN. But something like trazadone or an anti anxiety med like Ativan.

I am the same way. I can't stay asleep at night unless I take something over the counter to help me stay asleep.

the OTC stuff is usually just benadryl, and really if you have any type of allergies, which everyone it seems does here in the midwest it's not a big deal.
