A friend posted this darling on FB and after talking, fwbf and I agreed we wanted to give her our home. The poor thing came to us with some kind of discharge in her eyes, roundworms, and she was SO tiny! They had no idea if her mom was around because my friend's yard is full of pit bulls who really had fun chasing the kitty around. She has been to the vet a couple of times now for shots, checkups, etc. and has tapeworms which have been treated as of Wednesday.

She came to us at 1.1 lbs and ~1.5 months old. We've had her for one month and she's now 2.3 lbs!

EVERYONE, MEET MISTY!

I LOVE new kitten pics! Misty looks like a boneless kitty in the first pic. Completely relaxed.

A boneless kitty? LOL She is still small enough that she could fit inside my shoe comfortably. She is so feisty and playful!! She has a little belly on her now

TIKY, thank you

She has a thing for sticking her nose up one of my nostrils so I'm not sure what that's about. She's super freaking affectionate though!

IHH, Flaming Jane!!! How cute!! We tried to find a name appropriate for her grayness and her feisty but affectionate personality. Misty just fit. I have loved seeing her develop and grow this past month and the vet said at about 6 months, she'll slow down a bit with her developing so that'll be interesting to see. I just hope our other cat, who's 5, continues to react less and less to misty. Donna hissed and reacted majorly at first. Now it's just an occasional hiss. Until misty's tapeworms are cleared up, we have to keep her in her bedroom away from Donna.
