Applied for another job - Need Mojo

I just finished applying for another job. This is with a major insurance company doing the same exact job that I had before only with a different insurance company.

Could I please asked for some of that wonderful SI mojo or anything you can spare? This is a full-time telecommute job. This would solve a LOT of issues in my life.

Thanks so much.

Aaaahhh! No four-leaf clovers! I found two and I can't mentioned what happened after that because this is off topic!

Thank you, thank you! I applied for another position today. It's for an office manager of a nursing home. I've been an office manager before but not for a nursing home. We'll see what happens.

Thanks!

I have a question. In a few days should I contact both employers for an application status even though everything on their job site says to "check your account for application updates and status." I don't want to shoot myself in the foot by contacting but I also don't want to sit around and do nothing either.

MOJO MOJO MOJO

If it's something where you know the name of the manager that you would be working with/for, then I would definitely send a friendly, professional email. State that you applied through their system on x date, for job Y. You feel you would be a great asset to the company yada yada yada, I look forward to setting up a time for us to discuss how my skillset will benefit ABC Ins Co.

ETA: I always do this, and usually have to turn jobs down.
