I need to go out and get something, but nothing sounds good. What are you having?

Thank God my 666th post is gone!

Today, our office is having its quarterly birthday potluck lunch. So I have a mishmash of stuff. It's all good! And totally not helpful for you to figure out what you want.

Yesterday was my day to go out for lunch. Got a steak burrito from Chipotle. Quite tasty.

If nothing sounds good to me, my go-to is Schlotzsky's. They haven't failed me yet.

Right after I posted this, a group of coworkers sat down outside of my cube to eat their lunch. They started talking about high end steak houses, so that helped

I ended up with a gyro from a local place

Glad your lunch got resolved. I hope W goes out and gets something for us, but it'll probably be almond butter and orange marmalade on Italian bread for me.

Spinach ravioli was far more yummy sounding before I read all this steak talk.

We had steak fajitas. The steak and veggies were cooked in habanero infused oil. Wow, that was hot!! But tasty!

Greek food sounded good to me after hearing about the gyro. I raided our fridge/pantry and lucked out. Heated up a piece of naan, and stuffed it with fresh spinach, black olives, diced tomatoes, and feta cheese, with a drizzle of light balsamic dressing over the top. Not bad!

Now I want a steak. Medium rare.

Two scoops of tuna salad, on a bed of lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, peppers - with a touch of salt/pepper.

Now...I'd like a nap.

We had steak for dinner...

But I took it out to defrost at 6am... so this post didn't influence my dinner plans at all.

Trying to eat my greens. Had steak in the fridge at work.

So I bought a salad with nuts/cranberries/chicken, ate part of the chicken, cut up the steak (cold) into the salad. NO dressing. It was not as good as it sounds. Needed more salt and some dressing. But I got my greens!
