In other news, I heard on NPR the other day that in the Dakotas rattlers are evolving to have no rattle. Still venomous, though. Yikes.

I saw an Eastern Diamondback (not in captivity) a couple of years back. It was a BIG snake, but NOWHERE NEAR this one! The head on that thing is huge!!

I'm not saying it isn't a fake. It could be.
I know I've seen a snake so huge it took a row of men to hold it up- on my grandfather's farm when I was a kid and I've more recently personally seen snakes a LOT larger than they were supposed to be, according to the books.
