Man, I love pie. But, for Thanksgiving, pumpkin and pecan - in that order. Both with fresh whipped cream. Any other time of the year, I'll eat almost any pie (except a meringue - which I will eat as long as I can scrape the meringue off).

..PIE???? did someone say PIE??

I LOVE PIE.. any kind of PIE, usually with ice cream on top and whipped cream if I've got it.

strawberry/rhubarb is a favorite, but any fruit pie is OK with me.. I could live on Pie

..Pie for breakfast, pie for lunch, pie for dinner... and for dessert..more pie

bedtime snack?? pie of course!

pie never lasts long in my house.. my wife doesn't bother with it, maybe a sliver of cherry once in a blue moon, so I get to pig out on the whole thing!!

did I mention "I LOVE PIE" ????

smy.... rhymes with PIE!

LMAO! Somanyyears, this is how I also feel about pie. Pumpkin pie for breakfast is completely acceptable.

I really like Sour cream apple pie (with a strudel topping), lemon (fuck that meringue shit. I'm with musiclovingmom on that one), and rhubarb.

But really, all pie is amazing. We are French-Canadian, and my dad has recently shared his recipe for tourtiere with me. I swear, it is the best meat pie I've ever tasted. My dad makes a mean pie. Love my dad.

ps: can someone tel me what smy means? Google is not helping. Thx. I found out that it could mean "suck my yonker", but that doesn't rhyme with pie... ... ..

I'm making 2 praline pumpkin pies, a pecan, and an apple. 1 of the pralines can leave the house, I intend to eat the majority of the rest

I love my apple pie, and I also make a great honey pumpkin pie.

However, for Christmas, my coupe de grace was always Bourbon Bread Pudding--and, yes, I eat it for breakfast

Pumpkin, please! I prefer one-crust pies anyway, if I must eat pie. (SMY can have my share.) It's the filling I like, not the crust. I like to make them and am told I do a great job, but I'm happy for it to stop there most of the time.

At our Thanksgiving table have three pies, each made by a different person: pumpkin, apple and almost everyone's favorite, chocolate made from scratch.

I'm intrigued by TIKY's pumpkin-pecan pie, though! I was recently at a place where they served pie that was apple on the bottom and pumpkin on top. Two of the people with me tried it and declared it was awesome.

Tonight I’ll be making blueberry and for Christmas mincemeat with a cornmeal crust. Yes it has real meat so 2-3 days before I make the pie I’ll be having roast for dinner. Need to save the suet and leftover.

I love pecan pie if the baker is generous with pecans. I've found that pecan pies purchased often seem to be mostly Karo syrup with just a layer of pecans on top. Yech!

For Thanksgiving, I traditionally do pumpkin and dutch apple. The reason for dutch apple is that I hate making crusts, and the Pillsbury crusts come two to a pkg - so I need a second one crust pie to go with the pumpkin.
