Weird when the weekend falls right in the middle of new year's and Christmas.
Anybody got anything going on or is everyone recovering from Christmas?
I save Teslet from the bowels of chaos tomorrow and we are off to Denver for a week to visit family. My brother (who is 11 years younger than me) has plans to take me out for a New Year's Eve party...I highly doubt that I'm capable of handling his version of New Year's Eve.

A friend is helping me do some minor renovation work, so we will keep going with that. I am also doing some touch ups on paint and such, since the kids are gone all weekend. Gotta clean and paint while they aren't here! In between work we will eat and be merry I am sure, so it won't be all drudgery.

I was planning to head to my sister's this weekend, but there's illness there, so I'm going to spend the weekend purging excess crap from my garage (highs tomorrow in the 40s!) and my basement instead. And maybe take in a movie?

Tonight is a sleepover at my sister's house in preparation for our Family Christmas GTG tomorrow at our Baby Sis's.

Sunday morning is WW weigh-in. I know I've gained something over these past few days (at least I have per my home scale), but I gave my self a +5 pound window to enjoy the holidays so we shall see exactly what the damages are.
Then church, the Y for a good workout (if this cold I've gotten subsides) and later in the afternoon I'm meeting a college pal for the Packers/Bears matchup at her favorite watering hole. As usual, I'll be decked out in Broncos gear. Hopefully there won't be too many haters there.

SO is coming over Saturday to spend some time with me and the girl bananas. They've met in passing a couple times but want to start getting to know each other a bit.
I've been waiting for the green light from the girls (and he's completely respectful of their comfort level and timeline) and they say they're ready. It's been almost eight months and seems right. Fingers crossed!

Tonight, I am taking my daughters out for fajitas and 'ritas (iced tea for me--I am the DD). Tomorrow out with my oldest going consignment store shopping with a trip to see GDM and his new dog. Not sure about tomorrow night. Sunday they both work and go back to their dad's house. It is all good.

Hanging out with newlysingle, going ice skates shopping, and mall hopping. We are going to see some Christmas lights, and have a nice dinner.
Then I gotta come home and clean my mess of a house.
Then I may be DD so newlysingle can have a few very cold and yummy margaritas!
Denver sounds really nice!

I have my family staying with me so we are having a great holiday! I will be doing some home improvement over the weekend, a little shopping, and lots of eating!!

Tonight, taking IrishLad to his dad. Tomorrow, clean my room, find places for all the gifts, go to my aunt's house for another Christmas. Sunday, Costco shopping and detailing the car with the new stuff I got for Christmas.

We saw the movie Frozen this morning. It was cute. Everyone liked it.
Tonight, I've got to wrap a bunch of presents for a party tomorrow.
Tomorrow, spending the day at my parents' house.
No plans for Sunday. Will probably get caught up on some housework and laundry.
XH found work for the week so DSs have been home all week except for Christmas Eve. I love them, but it's been a bit much!! 
Failure is success if we learn from it.

I spent yesterday recovering from the Christmas blowout at my friend's house. Yikes.
Work today.
Dinner at my sister's with my kiddos tonight.
Tomorrow I'm not sure how we will entertain ourselves. Perhaps I will take the kids shopping so they can spend they gift cards.
Sunday we are seeing Frozen.

Nothing much going on here. I'm spending some more time with my kids and my family, and then the kids are going to XWH's house for NYE/NYD (and the really important Wednesday overnight visitation that they all love). So, I will be using that time to go see a movie and then get some grading done. No party plans... I'm not a NYE party person. I'd much rather do something quiet.

Today I went shopping for sales. Didn't find a bunch unfortunately. I took my DD and 2 of her friends, they didn't find much either when they were done.
Just finished watching the Dr. Who Christmas special with DD and another friend. She's the fan, but I enjoyed it.
Saturday I'm heading over to watch a student of mine in a sledge hockey game. I'm looking forward to it; I've never watched a real game of sledge before. It's cool.
After that I'm just cleaning for teh rest of the weekend, I think. Need to set up our trip to see the new Hobbit with the mom of DD's friend for the 4 of us.

Went to a visitation for a golf buddy that just passed away due to pancreatic cancer.
His sister in law that he had wanted me to meet was there. She had heard about me through him and I found out she has been divorced three times - all due to infidelity!
Her last husband is now with an 18 yo Chinese girl. My guess is that she is in her late 40's.
Took my Daughter and my Corgis on a five mile hike around a lake today which was nice. Daughter is over at X's house now. Corgis are passed out in my bedroom..
Having my daughter here has been wonderful. She is helping clear out a lot of things I don't need anymore.
Playing golf with several of my pals tomorrow which will be awesome. Supposed to be in the mid-50's here.
Big basketball game on TV in the afternoon - Kentucky vs Louisville. My son will be here to watch.
Not sure what I will do after that. Keeping low key on the dating front for a few days while the kids are in town so I can be available to them
Sunday will be church, assisted living place, and then likely watch some football.
