First Valentine's Day on my own in 11 years. It was never a big deal for us, so the day hasn't been a big trigger. But, the day may have meaning to me now. It's the first "holiday" since I left.

First one in at least 5 years, probably 11 years, that I have t spent with someone who was lying to my face. Sending someone else cards and gifts. Spending the day with them in a hotel while I was at work.

So it's a good day. Because its real.

Well I have my moments! Tough days to come in the next week so I am soaking up every wonderful moment of happiness.

And it is true. I'd rather be by myself, in my cozy new PJs, with popcorn, wine and a good movie than lying next to someone, giving them my heart while they are a lying, cheating, coward (see the anger and resentment snuck in there)
