I've had good results with hotels.com. You can always find one on that site, then look directly at the host site to see if they offer a better deal, but usually, hotels.com is the same or a better price. Also, you can sign up as a member and earn free stays. Of course you can do this as a loyal customer on the host sites, but then you have to stay at that particular chain. The hotels.com program allows you to stay almost anywhere.

I like orbitz. Once you book, they start sending you discount coupons. Also, each hotel stay has a certain number of dollars attached to it that you can use for future stays. Works well!

Travelocity. Always look for codes (try retailmenot). For our last Disney trip they were honoring Disney's 30% off and I found a code for another 12% off.

Priceline - Definitely worth a try.

Thanks... I think I found a hotel for a decent price in a decent area. I think.
Should I book this far out or wait a few more days and than book?

One thing to remember with Priceline is that it will only guarantee a room for two people. So it can (and does) happen that you can show up and get a room with one King bed and have no recourse but to pay more if you have more than 2 people.
