Stripes, Caddyshack, Ghostbusters . .

He was an actor, producer, writer, and director; and most of all a really funny guy who made us laugh.

RIP. Just saw the announcement. He also directed Groundhog Day. He was a great foil for Bill Murray.

Do not forget Animal House, Heavy Metal, Meatballs, Back to School, Club Paradise, Groundhog Day, Analyze This, As Good as it Gets and Orange County.

With my apologies for the plagerism, this man had a direct line to my funny bone.

So sad about this. I just watched part of Stripes with my DS yesterday.

RIP Harold. Thanks for the laughs.

Here is a clip from a long time ago. They all look so young.

What a loss.

He was such a funny funny man.

So many quotable lines came from him. Just thinking of all the one liner from Caddyshack alone. (Just watched it again last weekend)....

He also had ties to St. Louis, as a grad of Washington Uni.

He was afflicted with a rare, and horrific autoimmune disease.

RIP Harold.

When we saw Letterman, this guy would come out during commercials and talk to Dave and they'd scribble on some papers and then the guy would leave. Eventually we realized it was Harold Ramis! It was totally cool.

He was really, really a brilliant writer. I can't imagine how many lines we parrot that he is responsible for.
