Stripes, Caddyshack, Ghostbusters . .
He was an actor, producer, writer, and director; and most of all a really funny guy who made us laugh.

RIP. Just saw the announcement. He also directed Groundhog Day. He was a great foil for Bill Murray.

What a loss.
He was such a funny funny man.
So many quotable lines came from him. Just thinking of all the one liner from Caddyshack alone. (Just watched it again last weekend)....
He also had ties to St. Louis, as a grad of Washington Uni.
He was afflicted with a rare, and horrific autoimmune disease.
RIP Harold.

When we saw Letterman, this guy would come out during commercials and talk to Dave and they'd scribble on some papers and then the guy would leave. Eventually we realized it was Harold Ramis! It was totally cool.
He was really, really a brilliant writer. I can't imagine how many lines we parrot that he is responsible for.
