Love these! I'm glad you all had a good time.

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

HT and I would like to thank everyone for coming. We really enjoyed everyone's company. My house seems so quiet this evening.

I loved seeing old friends and making some new ones!

We would love to make the Texas State Fair a regular G2G.

Thanks again everyone for a fantastic time!

It's been a great time! DS has the video of me and MOS - hopefully it will get posted (yes, safe for work). I'll work on pics when I get home tomorrow. Great seeing old friends and meeting new ones! You guys are the best. I miss you already.

Tred....

When I unpacked and saw that I still had your video I immediately said "shit! I forgot to give this back!"

I'll have MH get it up on the thread tomorrow when he has time.

We miss you and everyone else!

When "Tred" and "video" are mentioned in the same sentence, it's important to specify. Just got home after an incredible weekend with incredible people (and Tred was there too ). Thanks again for everything.

HT & WOES, THANK YOU!!!!!!!

You made it a wonderful time for us, just so great!

(hope you took care of the pizza jones man...)

Loved meeting old and making NEW friends!

We might just think of doing this annually - with a FRIDAY trip to the fair. So much to see- we barely scratched the surface.

What an incredible experience and I am so glad I went!! As a newbie I felt a little awkward at first because everyone else already knew each other. But that feeling was brief as people immediately began to talk to me and make me feel welcome.

HT and Woes, thank you so much for hosting!! You did an amazing job of organizing, and negotiating seating and comps as needed. (Thank god HT is so aggressively handsome and knows how to use it!!). Everything was perfectly planned but honestly my favorite time was the first evening spent at your beautiful home. That was the best FOOD too!! If you deep fried slices of that delicious cake Woes made, it would beat anything they are serving up at the fair. You could call it a deep fried "That's right, BITCH!" .

But seriously there is something truly magical about being with people that understand everything you've gone through. Where you can say anything and know that it will be understood. I loved the way things flowed so easily between laughter and goofiness to serious conversation and back again, without missing a beat. Oh, and the alcohol flowed pretty well too!!

I miss all my new friends already, and can't wait to see you again in Houston. (((Hugs))) to all of you! Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome!!

DS should be posting pictures soon. Until then, here is the sling shot video...

Lol! I love that Tred NEVER puts his arms down. Even after the ride is over.... Even as they are lowering the cage back down...Even as the carneys come over to unstrap the two of them. He never puts his arms back down!!LOL

Tred is crazy bitches!

I love that Tred NEVER puts his arms down.

I have 2 theories on that

1. Tred has had many run ins with the law

or

2. Tred is part Saguaro.

The slingshot was awesome!!! Yes, Moo is right - the audio was edited. BIIIIIIIITTTTCCCHHHH!!!!

As for why Tred had his arms up, you all are partially right; Tred is insane, and that's why we love him. However, I was there, and I know Tred is also a practical man. While the weather that day was excellent by Texas standards, it was still a bit on the warm side. As such, when you are getting launched into the atmosphere at 90 mph in an open death orb, what better opportunity to "air out." I should have been so wise.

Ok, I'm not afraid to admit I had to "google" (now imagine hands flapping at about chin height for those of you that lingered Sunday ) Saguaro, but now that I did I'm definitely going with that second option!

Thanks MH! Very cool of you to post that. And MOS nailed it. It's much more refreshing that way.

Back home and miss everyone already. Glad everyone made it back safe. I think saying the food was good and the company was better is redundant at a SI G2G . Except for that breakfast Sunday.

HT & WOES - thanks for everything. Too much to list, but I'll sit back and make jokes in the back of your ride any day.
