it was brought to my attention that perhaps I am sharing WAY to many specific details on a public forum so I am editing this post and will PM the details to everybody individually.
That shouldn't take too much time...(sigh)

Based on what you have here, choice 2 seems pretty solid to me. Sucks paying for wifi, but $109 + $15 is still less than $170 a night like choice #1. If you're not like me and not always on-call, $109 minus wifi = extra win. For those looking to drink at the hotel, we can manage that even if their bar is closed
As promised, I will see if I can do anything about making choice #1 more affordable. I should know more tomorrow.

Choice #1 and my personal recommendation- Hilton southlake town square. It's easy to get to, walking distance to several bars, restraunts and shopping. Has complimentary valet parking and free wifi. A good restraunt with an excellent brunch and a bar that's open till 2am where we can hang out and get rowdy if we like and it's very well reviewed on both google and yelp. It is however pretty expensive at $170 per night
So, I found out my company rate for this hotel. By using my company contact, we can knock the price down to....wait for it...$170 a night! Wait, hold on there - that's no different at all. Sorry guys...

I also think #2 is our best option. The price is much more do-able, especially for people who want roomies. And for people who are flying in, there's complimentary shuttle service to the hotel, according to their website. That could save some people the cost of a rental car, since there should be plenty of us there with vehicles already.

Knight and I will need a room. We will be happy to go with the group consensus on which hotel. I like #1 but we aren't picky....does #1 have nice bathrobes...

Hi all,
Looks like we have a clear consensus about the hotel. I will be speaking to them today to try and firm up the arrangements, and I will PM everyone with the info as soon as I have it. Thanks to all of you who got back to me with your preferences.

Hi,
I ran across this thread and was wondering when you would need to get an answer. BBF's birthday is that Friday and I had been thinking about things to do. I brought this up as a possible birthday vaca, as it would be something new and we would get to meet others who are fighting and healing from infidelity. He says he would think about it, so maybe we will get to meet everyone.

gypsybird87,
A final decision was made, but I am avoiding putting too many specific details here on a public thread. I will be PMing everyone with the details shortly and I can add you to the PM list if you like. Just need to finalize the details. If it helps you to make the decision it looks as though the final price is going to be $99 per night plus applicable taxes (about 16%). Additionally the hotel has an airport shuttle that runs every half hour 24 hours a day so you could most likely avoid the cost of a rental car. Hope that helps you decide to attend
Matilda23,
The rooms will be reserved in a block until the 27th of September, meaning that you could decide as late as that and as long as the block isn't all sold out (unlikely as I asked for more than I anticipated needing) there would be a room available for you at the $99 rate. After sept 27th I would imagine you could almost certainly still get a room but I can't tell you what the rate would be at that point. Hope you can make it.

Thank you for the response. It looks as if BBF will not go but hopefully we would be able to make it to another g2g.
