Wait ... you're allergic to CORN ????
You know they grow a lot more than just corn around here.

There's also that tropical corn too.

I sometimes. get sniffly if I sleep in AC! Even if it's blazing hot and humid I prefer a multi-tiered fan system and a big glass of bedside ice water. But then, really I also hate installing and de-installing the window unit...

No real war here. I've gotten used to being a little chilly in the winter. Plus I have a trunkful of blankets to wrap up in if necessary. Summertime, H prefers it cool, even at night. Cue the blankets for me. The thing is, it seems I'm *always* a bit chilly (unless it's REALLY hot out) . My H will snuggle at night but then I turn into a furnace. My body temp actually rises a few degrees at night. For most people, it drops a few degrees. I've told H before, he's better insulated than I am.

My desired temp is 76. My husband's desired temp is 76. The problem is that my kids complain that it's hot in here. We don't care...we're trying to get them to leave anyway. LOL.
My son actually informed me that one of his annoying friends won't even come over in the summer because it's so "muggy" in our house. Now that's a good little piece of information to have- don't you think?
