As a co-chairperson of the SI F&G Bar Thread Regulatory Committee, I wanted to chime in that all dogs are welcome at all hours.

Ok, now go get the whiskey.

Very dry and dirty is how I like my martinis as well. I am a Bombay Sapphire guy, though. Keep a bottle in the freezer, and shake with a teaspoon or so of olive brine, and about 1/2 teaspoon of dry vermouth. Tasty!

Currently sipping on a Magic Hat "Jinx" Scotch Ale.

Is this place dog friendly? I asked Koda that question for you, yop, and he gave me this "What you talkin' about, Willis" look:

Cheers, everyone!

Sorry for the crazy question Koda. I should have known that an establishment such as this that dogs would be welcome. After all, they let Losfer in.

Thanks for the welcome Jrazz. I got the whisky. I was saving this gem for either a really good day or a really bad one. I'm sure there are plenty of fine people here who are having one or the other. I saw the 40 yo Glenfiddich that DD and F1 were drinking and made me think of this.

50 yo North British distilled in 1961. As old as this one is, it's fantastically fruity with a sherry finish. Not like some of the older, more woody expressions at all. Rich stewed fruits, strawberry, black cherry, black currant, sultanas, touch of toffee, and a slight nuttiness in the finish (just like me ).

I'll put it behind the bar for whomever needs it

In the meantime I'll try one of Losfer's dirty marts since I seemed to have finished mine. Please and thank you.

yop

No one really let me in yop, I just kind of waltzed on in.

50yr?? Please sign me up for a dram of that stuff. It looks and sounds glorious.

I would gladly pour you a dirty mart. One olive, or two?

Yop, I may climb over the bar or even dance on top of it for a *single* glass of that.

This is a *smoking* bar right? Cigar recommendations?

I'm just lost as to how in the hell to follow it up though.

Wait, what state are we in? I *might* have an idea. Gonna require an expert chef though!

Hi all, so sorry I am late. After a very long day at PAX Prime 2014, I could really use a couple shots of Jameson before bed. Where is that bartender?

Ok - this party is going back to the bar - three people walk into O'Stereotypes - who are they and why are they there?

1. A police Officer - to eye the crowd and make sure no one is getting too unruly (I believe he has a secret crush on Sam/Samantha)

2. A brand new 21 year old - first time bar hopping and celebrating the big day.

3. A writer suffering from writer's block so she is here to find inspiration.

There ya go DD, run with it.

Of course there is plenty of that North British 50 left TBH. For all the dancing on the bar that 545 did he only had a dram or 2. Please help yourself.

MrsYop decided to join me for a night cap with this Glenmorangie Lasanta if anyone else would like some. All kids are down for us and could use some relaxation at the bar after a crazy busy last two days...

5454, your dancing was great. It's always good to have that one person who will start things off and let everyone else loosen up to join them.

Holy Shit! I'm back y'all. You'll never believe what happened...

I was abducted from O'Stereotypes and yada, yada, yada, I don't remember anything from the past 2 days.

That 40 y.o. scotch and rank shrimp cocktail made for a killer combo!

That explains a lot! I think I'm going to go home and take a shower - my new cologne, "shady bar bathroom floor," is not doing it for the ladies.
