Oh beer, how do I love thee? Let me count the calories.....

Tonight's presentation up on the mountain went well but I'm so tired. And why are computers so inscrutible nowadays? Shouldn't the projector just *work*?

Tonights nightcap is a tiny pour of the Bulleit Rye. No picture of my glass cuz I'm too lazy and really it's not that awesome. Gits the job done. If yer still up please join me, I hate drinkin alone.

If you find me adhered to the bar at last call please let Sam know it's OK to wake me, I won't sock him/her, probably, unless he/she grabs me by my armpits. I'm ticklish and not responsible for my actions if you touch me there.

DD, I don't know all that happened but at one point you were engaged in a deep philosophical conversation with Forged's badger. Any recollections?

I woke up, not with my face stuck to the varnish, but with my mouth open to the skies and flies buzzing around. The bar was totally empty but the lights were still on. I left a few bills on the bar but I'm not sure what my tab was.

I wandered out alone and tripped over the badger's mountain bike that was lying on the sidewalk and hit the curb hard. I got a giant raspberry on my knee. I got up cursing and shouted FUCK YOU BADGER into the night but it just echoed off O'Stereotype's fascade and faded away. I tried finding my car but I had no clue where I parked. So I took the bike and rode home. It was nice in the moonlight and the wind in my face felt almost as good as the sensation of bending my knee and feeling the blood wet my sock.

I ended up in taking a detour through the park and hopping curbs around the playground. There were two shadowy figures hanging out on the swingset, I couldn't quite parse what I saw but they were only using one of the swings.

Now my knee aches a bit and I keep picking at the scab.

Oh good. Now that everyone's back awake, thought I would pop in for a drink. The old bartender in me feels like making a cocktail. Brought some moonshine with me. I've cranberry moonshine and cranberry juice, or apple pie moonshine and ginger ale. Don't hesitate to ask the bartender for one. Ingredients behind the bar. Need to throw some money in the jukebox. Oh look...dartboard.

First round is ready. MrsYop and I got ours. Anyone else? You gotta be careful though as they go down way easy and are 50% abv. If you're not careful you'll end up like heartbroken did the other night. Or was that last night?

Did someone say darts?? I'm always up for a game of cricket.

This place is dog friendly, if I remember correctly.

Not quite in the mood for fruity drinks, yop, but an IPA sounds mighty good! I have plenty to go around. So now we have the beer folks and the fruity drinks folks covered. Anyone else?

Happy Friday night! I've been sittin' in the corner for a while. This here's my poison.

For the record, I don't line dance, nor do I karaoke.

However, if Black Sabbath (Ozzie singin') should break out on the jukebox, I'd not be opposed...

I have to say these fruity drinks are hitting the spot. There is at least a good amount of whiskey in them.

Hey Koda. What's up buddy? As soon as Mickey gets the rest of his shots I'll bring him in (see pic on page 5 with DD4). Mick's been adjusting to our family quite nicely.

Wow WB! Love your choice of beverage! I'm a whiskey myself and I love 4 roses bourbon. Even the standard yellow label is fantastic! My whiskey club has bought a few barrels from them over the years. I think I have a special single barrel layin around here somewhere. Story behind this particular barrel is that the angels drank almost all of it. Except roughly 80 bottles worth. They weren't going to sell it to is but it's so good that our President talked them into it. Those 80 bottles got their own name called the Angel's Share. Sooo good. One of these nights I'll bring it in for ya. Yeah I know. I'm beyond a geek. At least it's whiskey though.

Yep, yop...GOOD bourbon, and other whiskey, reigns. I'm not generally a joiner...SI excepted, 'tho I didn't choose to be in that club.. none of did. Might reconsider for a whiskey club...did not know such existed!

Just sittin' here sippin'. Although my drink of choice might indicate a hound dog layin' at my feet, that's not the case.

Hope a dog's presence in this establishment is acceptable, however. There's a square-headed pug snoring by my flip-flop. She'll not make a fuss, unless ya'll do. Then prepare to have your ankles gnawed...

(Edited d/t typo--crap!)

In addition to Koda, I have a Corgi, and an old decrepit miniature poodle wandering around here somewhere.

No worries about the pug. We established a few pages back that dogs are welcome. Keep them away from the badger though. He gets a little ornery. Losfer's dog Koda is over there. Koda hangs out in the menz thread from time to time.

As part of bar talk, Losfer and I found out that we have a bunch of musicians here in one of PainfulPast's threads a while back. I know you have the studio... There has been some light banter about forming a band. Losfer plays a pretty mean guitar, I play bass, and Painful has her drums. Maybe we should swing by your place and lay down some tracks? Hope you won't charge us too much play anything yourself?

I asked Peggy...she's good with Huskies...although no motorcycles or school buses, please. They make her bark and feel guilty about it.

Might have to liquidate the studio, unless I'm able to locate a decent sound engineer. However, should the house band need producing or marketing, I might consider. May just get out of the business altogether...the stereotypes are true, ya'll...(she said as she threw one back.)

Shots all around!...I can be generous d/t the fantasy aspect!

Shite! Did I just see a badger?

We can always use production and marketing skills. First we have to think of a band name, though.

Switched it up a bit, with all of this whisk(e)y talk. I brought my bamboo plant with me, too.

Ooooh. Triple smoke. I'll have to drink some from you and WB.

I knew I should have gotten my music engineering degree from Fredonia. Switched it up last minute and went for a finance degree. I do know of a good tech back from where I'm from.

How about manager WB?

Band names? Hmmmm...

Yeah, I kind of dropped out of the music scene to finish up my degree in computer science as well. Software development was my "Plan B".
