I posted this in a users thread but I think it belongs here….

One thing I have not found yet, it used to be possible to click on a user’s profile and click on their "recent posts". When you went into one of their threads their comments were highlighted in yellow so it was easy to find what they specifically wrote.

When I try to follow the same path here it doesn’t highlight their comments. They look the same as other posters.

So if it’s possible to do in The new version please let me know how. If not, can that be added?

Another function I find missing is it used to be that at the top of the list of FORUMS it would show a link to PRIVATE MESSAGES and it would tell you if you have a new Private Message.

That is not there anymore and I’m afraid people will never know if they have received a new message.

Can that be added back?

Lastly… I don’t know where to click to Sign Out. It’s not on the three bar pull down or anywhere else I can find.

I was accessing the new site this morning and it suddenly isn't allowing navigation. When I click on "forums" the drop down menu is blank and I can't go any further.

Can we not log out? Even the old site doesn't let us (it has the link to do it, but it doesn't work).

So a few things:

Legacy version always keeps me logged in.

New version keeps logging me out.

Once i login again the only way for me to get to the forums is to click the Surviving Infidelity. Com link at the which brings me to the memorial dedication page for DS then at the bottom says continue to forums. Drop down menu does not work at all. It drops down but none of the links work. No healing library, forums etc.

Also the new version doesn't have the forum description on the main forums page like the legacy site does.

Are you sure the legacy site is keeping you logged in still? I just fixed that this morning.

I just double-checked and the forum descriptions are on the main forum page on the new site. What site are you on?

In Chrome i am on the legacy version.

In Safari i am on the Net site.

Give me a few minutes. I took screen shots of both forum main pages on both versions to give you an idea what i see. I need to go unload the images them ill be back to post.

I always have SI open and i am logged in, in Chrome.

The first item, highlighting members' posts when you load them from recent posts, has been implemented. I am still contemplating the second item you mentioned.

I went to your profile and clicked on "recent posts". I selected the first thread (which happens to be this thread) and when it comes up your posts are still the same color as all the others.

Am I doing it wrong? I am on an iPhone.

I will check to see if Safari has the view as desktop option.

No. It was me. This is now working.

That's on me. I need to remember mobile devices.

I've added icons for each forum to expand and show the descriptions for each forum for mobile users.

I've also added the notification at the top of the forums page to tell you when you have an unread private message.

As for the other item, I now see that when you get a PM it does show in the Pull Down at the top. That’s good.

What I was saying is that PRIVATE MESSAGES was always the first item on the FORUMS page and it told you if you had any new PMs. Just think people have come to expect to look there to see if they have any and having the notification in both places will help ensure people find their PMs.

Oops. I spoke to soon. The yellow highlighting of the posts only works on the first page of the thread not on all pages of the thread. 😢

Safari does have a "view as desktop" and that made all the difference.

The menus all work.

Drop down menu doesn't work in mobile view.
