smiley - the easiest way I have found is to google search whatever you're wanting to put in, right click and select 'Open image in new tab'.
Copy the url from the new tab and paste it in to the SI text box.
Then highlight the address in the SI window and click on the 'image' button to the left of the text box.
I also always preview my message - sometimes the link is wonky and it won't show.
